American Legacy Academy (ALA) is an affordable, LDS private school (faith based curriculum) in a small setting, teaching Preschool through 6th Grade, educating children's hearts and minds as they prepare today to become tomorrow's leaders. ALA uses an LDS principle approach--focusing on high academic achievement and Christian Character. Beginning in 2010-2011, the curriculum at ALA will integrate principles from Thomas Jefferson Education (TJ Ed), Foundation for American Christian Education (FACE), and recommendations from Core Knowledge (such as using various multi-sensory methods of instruction, practice, and application).
Children increase in faith, conscience, self-government, Christian Character, unity, the desire to serve and the ability to lead, as they grow in understanding of their individual divine potential, discover and define their mission, and gain knowledge of true American heroes whose lives become a pattern and inspiration to follow.
