American Legacy Academy was founded and exists to provide an environment and curriculum designed to aid parents in developing the hearts, minds, and hands of their children. It also aids in bringing the children to Christ with a desire to serve Him and to lead our nation and our families back to Him. At American Legacy Academy, we strive to develop the joy of service and Christian leadership in our scholars.

2008-2009 School Year
As the Administrator at American Legacy Academy (ALA), I work daily with families that desire a more personalized education for their child.AmericanLegacyAcademy was established in 2005 with the goal of making small classroom sizes and individualized instruction available to more families. We have kept our tuition significantly lower than other private schools in the area with the aim of being an option for more families, specifically those with financial need.Because of this, we rely heavily on Private and Corporate donations.
AmericanLegacyAcademy is an affordable, private school based on LDS principles located in American Fork, Utah.We currently offers P-K through 5th grade, adding 6th grade in 2010-2011.The focus of the school is on educating children's hearts and minds as they prepare today to become tomorrow's leaders. ALA focuses on high Academic Achievement, Christian Character and is based on a Classical American Heritage curriculum. The scope and sequence for the curriculum at ALA comes from the Foundation for American Christian Education, (FACE), as well as recommendations from Core Knowledge. We use multi-sensory methods of instruction, practice and application. Our Student Motto is:
We are learning from Christian principles and to act honorably as we grow in character,
Soaring to great heights of achievement, Following in the footsteps of true heroes,
We are preparing to be future leaders for our God, our families, and our country-
This is our pursuit.
I am asking for your help this year to meet the needs of our growing school in the form of scholarship money or donations to purchase our building and a portable for expansion. We are a 501c3 non-profit entity. We have a board of directors that approves the spending of monies donated and oversees the improvements and maintenance of our building, teachers and curriculum. Please help us to provide partial scholarships for current patrons struggling financially to remain at our school, to supplement tuition costs in order to keep tuition low, and to purchase the building we are renting to cut down on monthly expenses.
We appreciate your time and consideration on our behalf. Please let me know if any other information would be helpful in making your decision by visiting our website at AmericanLegacyAcadamy.org or contacting me at801-756-4020.Together, with your help, we can build a better future for the children in our community, today. They are truly the hope and future of America.
