AMERICAN LEGACY ACADEMY
MISSION STATEMENT AND COMMITMENT
American Legacy Academy is committed to providing a moral, patriotic and family-oriented environment where students can excel academically. By using the best curriculum and the standard works of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints*, students receive an exceptional education based on LDS values and principles to aid them in a lifelong commitment to the study of truth. Learning takes place in a loving, safe atmosphere where parents are involved in their children's education.
Family time is a priority at American Legacy Academy. Our class hours are 8:30 a.m. - 2:45 p.m., Monday - Friday. This schedule ensures that students are dismissed early enough to have adequate time to finish their homework and free up evening time to allow them to participate in family activities. Smaller class sizes are also emphasized with approximately 12 students in each Kindergarten class and approximately 16 students in each class grades 1-6, allowing more 1-on-1 instruction for the teachers and the students.
Our teachers are dedicated to creating a nurturing relationship with their students. Each teacher strives to provide a safe educational environment and to inspire a desire to learn.
