Megan Heath is first and foremost the mother of 4 young children. She graduated from BYU in 1996 with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Secondary Education teaching certificate. She enjoyed teaching Seminary for several years. More recently her experiences working in Baby Watch’s Early Intervention have given her a broad understanding of the diverse educational methods appropriate for children. She developed a popular parent education class using play to enhance social emotional development. In the past few years she provided that training to all of Utah’s early intervention programs and provides on-going support to several sites. She also currently works as a consultant for families using the principles of Stanley Greenspan’s DIR model. She is passionate about empowering parents with a developmental framework that helps optimize their child’s development. |
