Interests and Activities
In the Church
I have been very blessed to have held several callings in the Primary organization in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have served as the Nursery leader twice and as a teacher for the Sunbeam, CTR 6 and CTR 8 classes. I was also the leader of Family Home Evening groups for families with young children, Playgroup leader and I played the piano for a time in Relief Society (they must have been desperate!
In the Community
My children are the driving factor for the many community organizations in which I have been a very active participant. My experience in this realm includes Girl Scout troop leader, Orem Youth Soccer coach, Orem T-ball coach, organizing and coordinating involvement in several local community parades and Group leader in many Mom and Me educational playgroups. I have recently spoken at several seminars concerning childhood development and healthy communication within the family. I have had the opportunity to work with several families on an individual basis in helping to strengthen family unity and gain a greater understanding of childhood development and communication.
