"Mommy let’s do it again!"

At Preschool we know that play is the work of children. Learning is supposed to be fun! Come learn how to become the ultimate play partner, help develop your child's communication skills, and make meaningful memories. Young children learn best through fun multi-sensory activities while engaged in meaningful relationships. This class will not only enhance your child’s development but give you powerful parenting tools to use all day everyday.

Kindergarten Prep (Preschool) Schedule T/Th 9:00-1:30

Daily Schedule:

9:00 Morning Center Time
As children enter the classroom they may choose a center. Centers are filled with educational toys, manipulatives, books, and new activities focused on the center’s theme and the theme of the week.

9:30 Morning Devotional
The class will gather at the rug to begin the day with prayer, the pledge of allegiance, a song, scripture time, and a thought for the day.

9:45 Language Arts

Language arts time consists of seat work activities, class games, quiet reading time, teacher directed lessons, songs, and other activities that develop reading, writing, and speaking skills.

10:30 Recess

10:45 Math
Math time begins with teacher directed learning where students learn essential math skills. Then students participate in a class activity to practice, foster, and develop the skill learned that day. Following the class activity children choose from a variety of activities that help reinforce the math skills learned and review previous skills.

11:30 Lunch

12:15 Story and Theme Time

12:30 Afternoon Center Time: Music and Movement, Science and Exploring My World

1:15 Clean Up/ Circle Share Time
This is an important time of the day where we celebrate what we have learned, students are able to share work they have completed, and we talk about what happened during the day.
